The Problem to Solve
Previous iterations of the Astaria product were focused on lending (primarily NFTs) but through an outdated vault system of user-provided liquidity with shared pool fees. The NFT market had been trending downward, and new methods of providing liquidity for digital assets were needed.
The Solution
Introducing Intent-based lending - permissionless, peer-to-peer lending and borrowing for/against NFTs and ERC-20 tokens, allowing users to set parameters for risk tolerance and interest rate ceilings, becoming popular amongst meme token communities.
The intent feed is the main hub of Astaria. Users can submit intents to borrow or lend with their set parameters, and they are fed into the feed of active intents. The automatic matching system in the background will match borrows and lenders with similar parameters, and all other requests are listed in descending time order for other users to come and fill at their convenience and desired risk tolerance.
