Context
In 2021, after the release of Uniswap V3 and their concentrated liquidity offerings, Sushi was hard at work at the Trident AMM upgrade. While many parts of these designs were ultimately not implemented, myself and the rest of the Sushi team were diligently working on an overhaul of the AMM with a focus on concentrated liquidity, and mobile-first design practices.
